1 Corinthians 13:2-4

² If I have the gift of prophecy^(A)
and understand all mysteries
and all knowledge,
and if I have all faith
so that I can move mountains^(B)
but do not have love, I am nothing.
³ And if I donate all my goods to feed the poor,
and if I give my body in order to boast^[a]
but do not have love, I gain nothing.
⁴ Love is patient,^(C) love is kind.
Love does not envy,^(D)
is not boastful, is not conceited,^(E)
